I’m a filmmaker and director of photography based in New Zealand.
I’ve been making pictures since I was small and I eventually went on to train formally in design.

Design thinking still informs how I approach every project so I am always pursuing the most effective and beautiful way to solve a problem through visual storytelling.

Most of my work sits in the commercial and branded space, but I also have lots of experience in the film/TV world which allows me to apply big budget techniques to smaller jobs and make them feel premium.

Outside of client work, I’m usually experimenting, making music videos, artist spotlights, and sharing what I learn along the way to help other filmmakers get better.
